Info on ngorongoro crater
The Ngorongoro Conservation area covers about 8300 Square
Km. Both animals and humans are allowed.
No humans live in crater itself is about 20km across and is a collapsed
volcano, a caldera. It is possible to see the endagered black rhino here. |
Info on the Serengeti
The Serengeti National Park
covers 14,763 square km in which humans are not allowed.
It is renown for its predators and for the Wildebeast calving
(february / march) and their following mass migration |

If you have trouble with the heat make sure you book
Safari accomodation in lodges with air conditioning.
You will see it all but a lot of travelling over roads,
which are non-tarmac in the parks, is needed to get there.
Remember its hot so always drink water!,
The game breaks
on which you see the animals last 4 to 5 hours & your not allowed out of the vehicles when in the parks, so you
may need to take pee pots.
